Suzanne  Evans

Described as a ‘Swiss Army muso’, Suzanne’s versatility and skill on both violin and viola have led to an enormously varied career. She was appointed co-principal viola of the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra in Mexico and toured the country with the contemporary ensemble Sequenza Sur, founded by renowned Mexican composer Javier Alvarez. Suzanne has lived in the UK since 2008 and has enjoyed a busy freelance career. Performance highlights include Carnegie Hall in New York, St James' Palace in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II, and the Arcadia stage at the Glastonbury Festival.

She has collaborated with artists including Damon Albarn, Emilie Sande, and Jarvis Cocker, toured with Tim Minchin, Michael Ball, and Alfie Boe, and recorded with Little Mix, One Direction and JP Cooper. Suzanne's extensive classical experience includes the BBC Concert Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Suzanne completed her graduate studies at the Carnegie Mellon School of Music in Pittsburgh, USA under the direction of Cyrus Forough and Toby Appel.
