Sharia Johnson Dancer
Sharia Johnson was born in London, trained at the BRIT school of performing arts for four years and during this time she accepted an offer onto the CAT (centre of advanced training) scheme at The Place. Later she accepted an offer to join Rambert youth dance company (Quicksilver) and remained with the company for one year.
She graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2015 and now has a degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance. During her time at Rambert school she performed works by Christopher Bruce CBE, Robert Cohan CBE and Dr Ross McKim.
Sharia has also danced in theatres for choreographers such as Richard Alston CBE, Luc De Lairesse, Ahn Ngoc Nguyen, Kerry Nicholls (R&D), Daniel Proietto and Bawren Tavaziva.
She previously toured nationally and internationally INALA in 2015. Following on to dance for Michael Clark Company and Rambert where she particularly enjoyed her experience dancing in Tel Aviv, Israel. Sharia was The Dancing Times 'dancer of the month' December 2018 issue.’
